The bad news just reached us…..
Mikey "Offender" Donaldson bass player of M.D.C. died in his sleep some days ago. We had the great honour to hang out, party with and get to know Mikey when we played some gigs with M.D.C. before the summer. Mikey was one of the most friendly guys we´ve ever met on the road.
We´d all been looking forward to see you again Mikey. We still do. Who knows…

We're really proud to announce these 3 gigs, since MDC really is a great influence of ours. Ever since our fist drummer Lillen bought the Millions Of Dead Cops album back in 1982, we realised there was something special with the american punkscene. This was completely different from the Ramones kind of punk. They sang their political lyrics so fast and the music was far from 4 times of that and 4 times of this. Anything could happen. I really like the political lyrics and the anger that the whole album is breathing. When we did the White Power Bullshit recording in 1994 I bought Lillens album and listened to it day and night. Planet Trash punk is really a mix of american old-shool hardcore and more melodic punk like the Oi-punk which all of our friends listened to when we grew up. After six lazy months, we have now played the three first gigs since the tour. We played Stockholm and Västerås with Disconvenience. And last weekend we played our hometown with our dear friends and rock´n roll heroes Babylon Bombs.
Now we continue to work on the new material. We´ll put our focus on that for the next couple of months. Probably no gigs before February or March.

Here we go!
For the moment, we´re busy working on new material. Hopefully, we will find time to record it before shitmas. Or at least this winter. It looks like Planet Trash will sound heavier, uglier and more angry than before from now on. Some people will like it, some people won´t. Well...time will tell.

Here we are! Back in Sweden again. We had a blast during our two weeks on the roads across Europe. There are some people that we want to salute:

Studio chaos
We´ve spent this weekend in Studio Soundcreation. Five brand new songs have been recorded.
I guess our poor friend Ryan, at the table wish he´d been somewhere else the entire weekend. If I would tell you that the guy was impressed by us, I´m way beyond the truth...
We didn´t get a chance to rehearse all the songs together all four of us, before entering the studio. So when I´m telling you that we had a weekend full of misunderstandings and chaos...It´s no exaggeration.

But after all...we now have five new songs and we will do the mix tomorrow. And probably, it ends up being fucking good. As always...

Tomorrow belongs to us!

A new year is here. Last year we finally made it together again and did a couple of gigs and started to work on new songs. In 2006 we got the shit for you folks. There's a lot of things going on now...This weekend we will gather for rehearsals, cause the weekend after that it´s time for the first studio visit in...three years (?). Hopefully an E.P will come out from that. We might do a re-recording of the song "Eleven" and a Black Flag cover as well.

As for the tour...it looks kinda good you know. There´s people helping us grateful "Trashers" out in Denmark, Poland, France, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia for the moment. But still, there's a lot of work to get everything together with the dates and so on...Bye the way, we'll go on tour one week earlier than said before. The tour will be between Friday the 5:th of May and Saturday the 20:th.

And some bad news...
Our mate Dirk at Volxdroge has decided to call it a day. So for the moment it looks like we're not going to release the "Nothings changed" album the way it was meant.

Believe it or not…but it seems like Planet Trash will enter Studio Soundcreation in february to record six new songs for a brand new E.P. The new material will be pretty much back to the roots and old school. Something to die for.

We will soon rebuild the layout but that's another story..

Hi folks!

Last weekend we played in Sundsvall at some kind of D.I.Y-happening. Thanx to everyone we met up there...the promoters, the crowd and the other bands. We had a good time! Even though you might get another feeling after reading the review from Sundsvalls Tidning:

I had really been looking forward to the forth band on stage this night, Planet Trash. It´s been seven or eight years since the last time I saw them perform. Back then, I listened quite a lot to "White power bullshit" so it was great fun to hear that song again in deed. The band really tried to deliever, but they had a hard time struggling in front of a crowd who didn´t pay them as much attention as they wanted. During other circumstances, I know that Planet Trash could be something special, but this night they can´t hide their frustration and after a while it gets obvious that they just want to finish off their set and leave the stage.

Well, no news about the upcoming release. We´ll let you know as soon as we know.

If everything ends up the way we want, we´ll be touring Europe 12/5 - 27/5 next year.

Hi there!

It´s been a while...But now we are back! We´ve been kinda lazy since the release of the "Hit by the truth" -album. It´s about time to change that, don´t you think? This fall, the new album called "Nothing´s changed" will be released. More about that later.

Recently, we played our first show with the new member Parne at Karlslundsrocken (outdoor festival). We pretty much sucked up there, but people seemed to enjoy the shit, so what the hell...

For now we are planning on some gigs around Sweden and, hopefully we will go down to europe for the first time next spring. If you want your favepunkband to drop by your town, get in touch!
